When it comes to high flexibility for processing sheet metal, the laser is usually the clear favorite. Here, various small batches are produced quickly and efficiently from sheet metal. With consistently increasing laser speeds and more frequent changes to products, laser cutting from coil is becoming relevant even for medium size production runs. Laser cutting systems fed via strip material from coil offer significantly faster processing times than traditional cutting systems for sheet metal. Thanks to the coil-fed laser blanking lines developed by ARKU and TRUMPF, coil processing is now more flexible than ever before.

ARKU coil-fed laser blanking lines offer maximum flexibility when it comes to processing coil. Laser cutting systems fed via strip material offer significantly higher machine run times than traditional cutting systems processing sheet metal. The integrated ARKU precision and high-performance leveler guarantees process reliability and flat materials. ARKU can digitally lay out the coil-fed laser blanking lines according to your individual requirements.

Whether using rotary or stationary shears: cut-to-length lines from ARKU process coils up to 40 t and strip widths up to 86" (2200 mm). All common coil thicknesses up to 0.78" (20 mm) can be processed. In addition to hot- or cold-rolled steel, galvanized, painted strips as well as stainless steel, aluminum and copper can all be utilized. The combination of a slitting and cut-to-length line is a particularly flexible solution (multi-blanking). The optionally integratable HiCap high-performance leveler guarantees flat materials. In addition, our line can be equipped with punching, embossing and bending units as well.
