Cut-to-length lines have to fulfill especially demanding standards when it comes to flatness and service quality. The HiCap® coil strip leveler machine from ARKU is the solution for all strip defects. As a strip leveler, it is specifically designed for processing wide and thin coils.

In order to guarantee that the demanding flatness requirements for the sheet metal strips are fulfilled, the HiCap® utilizes tilting and bombage. The leveling rollers can be specifically tilted or individually adjusted as needed. Thus, removing the flatness deformation by applying more pressure where needed.

Up until now, systems had to be equipped with multiple levelers in order to handle coils with different thicknesses. The HiCap® PLUS model can process various coil thicknesses, eliminating the need for multiple levelers thanks to its innovative cassette change systems. A clever solution from ARKU.

The patented EcoPlan® drive concept from ARKU provides up to 30% more performance with the same power requirements. Similar to an ABS system in a vehicle, EcoPlan®, prevents the leveling rollers from slipping on the coil material. Intelligent intermediate rollers ensure that the leveling rollers apply even pressure. This reduces the wear on the leveling rollers and also prevents marks on the coil material.
