For a long time, employees with angle grinders handled the deburring and edge rounding of parts coming off the oxyfuel cutting table. The employees were dealing with repetitive strain injuries which are very serious. To be able to apply a consistent edge rounding was crucial to allow for proper paint adhension for the final products used in their wood processing equipment.
„Experienced metal fabrication workers are hard to find. Employees now have more time for fabrication, and we can increase our output."

ARKU offered the company a trial run in the Leveling and Deburring Center in Cincinnati. Optimil sent some of their worst parts to deburr and edge round after they were cut on their oxyfuel cutting table. Upon examining the results, the test part results were very impressive. Therefore, they moved forward with the purchase of an EdgeBreaker® 4000 to bring this piece of equipment in house.
“The EdgeBreaker® 4000 was easy to use and provided a high performance. To our great advantage, it also handles thicker materials. Some providers on the market do not offer this capability.” - Ross Chapman of Optimil Inc.
