Danne Holding GmbH, Germany - EU

Leveling with the FlatMaster® 88. A success story from Danne Holding GmbH, Germany - EU.
Danne Holdings

Levelers: for flat and low-stress sheet metal.

The Danne group of companies comprises several metalworking operations and manufactures laser and flame-cut parts with additional production processes up to welded assemblies.

Problem/Challenge:

When the cut pieces behave like rubber bands, then material stresses are an issue. These stresses cause the initially flat panels to deform after laser cutting.

Blechteile gestapelt

This requires extensive rework as a result. The robust products from Danne are destined for renowned companies in the mechanical engineering and agricultural machinery industries. As such, they have to fulfill the highest standards of flatness.

Optimum leveling results, no rework and leaner manufacturing processes play a key role for Danne Holding GmbH.

„The parts no longer have to be tested separately on a measurement table and we save valuable working time."

Solution from ARKU:

The FlatMaster® 88: The machine not only levels flame-cut and laser-cut parts between 5 and 15 mm with high precision. It also eliminates internal material stresses. It can efficiently process even complex parts without additional reworking. The subsequent processes such as bending, welding and mechanical work involve significantly less adjustment and rework. The system processes 150 metric tons per month, 10 times the quantity of parts with the same number of personnel in comparison to the previous process.

"Thanks to a roller conveyor manufactured especially for Danne with a flatness of 0.5 mm, the inspections can be carried out directly on the roller conveyor itself. The parts no longer have to be tested separately on a measurement table and we save valuable working time. As a result, process cost savings of 30 to 40% are generally possible."
