To make it easier for them to get started, they first received a comprehensive introduction to the company and were guided through the various departments. This allowed them not only to get to know the workplaces, but also to gain an insight into the diverse areas of responsibility at ARKU. Afterwards, the new trainees in the metal sector were allowed to produce their first workpiece. For the commercial trainees, the first tasks began in the office. They were accompanied by experienced trainers and were able to directly apply their acquired knowledge.
Of course, a small photo shoot was done to capture this special day. During a joint lunch with the management, the new colleagues were able to get to know each other and make first contacts.
The promotion and training of young people has always been a high priority at ARKU. Training is an investment in the future. "We want to be prepared for future tasks and attach great importance to our own young skilled workers," says Chris Schottmüller, training manager at ARKU.
ARKU wishes the new apprentices and DHBW students much success and joy on their new journey into professional life. They have an exciting time ahead of them, where they will not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical experience. With their commitment and enthusiasm, they will make a valuable contribution to the success of ARKU.
