The team met in front of the ARKU headquarters in Baden-Baden. Together, the runners made their way to Karlsruhe. Due to the high volume of traffic, the participants only reached the B2Run meeting point at 7:07 pm. They were able to pick up their starting numbers just in time and were already lined up for the race starting at 7:15 pm. That was perfect timing!

A total of 7870 runners took part in the popular company run. The route spanned over 5.5 kilometers through the Karlsruhe Palace Gardens and ended in the impressive BBBank Wildpark Stadium. The rainy weeks took a break on this day and made for an ideal run in sunny 25 degree celsius weather. The ARKU running team was highly motivated and combative. "The run is a great opportunity to get to know colleagues from different departments," explains Vallier, team captain. "The focus is not only on sporting achievements, but also on team spirit, which strengthens the cohesion of the participants," he adds. The atmosphere during the run was festive and motivating, characterized by good music and a dedicated moderator. The finish line in the stadium, a highlight of the event, provided special emotions and enthusiasm among the ARKU runners.

After the sporting effort, the focus was on team building. The ARKU runners ended the evening together with cool drinks and a classic stadium sausage and shared their experiences. The B2Run in Karlsruhe once again proved to be the perfect setting to strengthen team spirit. The ARKU employees are already looking forward to the next company run.

The B2Run is a sports event for companies, clubs and organizations where colleagues can run, jog or walk together. The focus is on team building, health promotion and commitment to a good cause. In 2024, the B2Run was launched with DKMS. Together with ARKU and the other participating companies, the sporting event supports the fight against blood cancer.
