Mansfelder Kupfer Messing GmbH, Germany

Leveling with the FlatMaster® 180 and FlatMaster® 88. A success story from Mansfelder Kupfer Messing GmbH, Germany.
MKM

Levelers for flat and low-stress sheet metal.

MKM stands for "Mansfelder Kupfer und Messing" and is a leading European manufacturer of preliminary and semi-finished products made of copper and copper alloys. MKM primarily manufactures its products using casting, drawing and roller processes.

Problem / challenge:

After the roller manufacturing process, the copper panels are highly uneven.

„We receive sheet metal with almost no internal stress, often without heat treatment. The process is very simple: Level the part once, cut it and sell it."

- Uwe Hirsemann, Production Manager

Solution from ARKU:

With the FlatMaster® 88 and FlatMaster® 180, ARKU provides two high-precision levelers which cover a total thickness spectrum of 2 to 60 mm.
