ARKU starts training six new talents

On September 1st, six young individuals embark on a new chapter at ARKU, as they kick off their apprenticeships in Mechatronics, Industrial Management, and Metal Technology. It marks a significant milestone for both ARKU and the apprentices, symbolizing a shared future filled with learning, growth, and dedication.

The new team members started their careers at ARKU with a comprehensive introduction to the company. They were not only given an insight into the corporate culture and philosophy, but were also given a tour of the various departments. This allowed the trainees and students to get to know their future workplaces and the wide range of tasks that ARKU has to offer.

The theoretical introduction was followed by the practical part: the metal trainees were able to produce their first workpieces in the training workshop and apply the knowledge they had learned directly. Meanwhile, the commercial trainees began their first tasks in the office. This direct involvement in practical activities underlines ARKU's approach of seeing training as a combination of theory and practice.

A highlight of the day was the joint lunch with the management. This opportunity not only provided space for an informal exchange, but also promoted team spirit and the integration of the new members into the company.

Training young professionals has always been a high priority at ARKU. Investing in training is an investment in the future. "We want to be equipped for future tasks and attach great importance to our own young skilled workers," says Chris Schottmüller, Head of Training at ARKU.
